From hadith no 452 to 461
Hadith No: 452 Narrated/Authority of Uqba bin Amir alJuhani
The Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) said this hadith. He said that whoever performs ablution and says, “I testify that there is no god but Allah, the One, and I testify that Muhammad is His servant and His Messenger.”
Hadith No: 453 Narrated/Authority of Abdullah bin Zaid bin Asim alAnsari
People told him: “Show us how the Messenger of Allah performed ablution.” So, he called for a container of water and poured water on his hands, washing them three times. Then, he put his hand in the container, rinsed his mouth, and snuffed up water from his palm three times. He put his hand in the container again, washed his face three times, and then washed each arm up to the elbow twice. Next, he wiped his head with his hands, both front and back. Finally, he washed his feet up to the ankles. He said: “This is how God’s Messenger performed ablution.”
Hadith No: 454 Narrated/Authority of Amr bin Yahya
The transmitters are the same, but ankles are not mentioned.
Hadith No: 455 Narrated/Authority of Malik bin Anas
Amr b. Yahya said the same thing, and he mentioned rinsing the mouth and snuffing water into the nostrils three times. He didn’t mention “from one palm.” He added that he moved his hands to wipe the front of his head and then the back of his neck. Then he brought his hands back to where he started. After that, he washed his feet.
Hadith No: 456 Narrated/Authority of Babz
Wuwb narrated this hadith on the authority of ‘Amr b. Yahyi. The same chain of transmitters is mentioned in it. It says that he rinsed his mouth and snuffed up water in his nostrils. He cleaned his nose with three handfuls of water. He wiped his head by moving his hand in front and then back once. Bahz said that Wuhaib narrated this hadith to him. Wuhaib said that Amr b. Yahya narrated this hadith to him.
Hadith No: 457 Narrated/Authority of Abdullah bin Zaid bin Asim alMazini
He watched Allah’s Messenger (peace be upon him) do the ablution. He rinsed his mouth, cleaned his nose, washed his face three times, washed his right hand three times, washed his other hand three times. Then, he wiped his head with fresh water and washed his feet until they were clean.
Hadith No: 458 Narrated/Authority of Abu Huraira
The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said that when someone uses pebbles to clean themselves after going to the bathroom, they should use an odd number of pebbles. And when any of you perform ablution, you should sniff water into your nose and then clean it.
Hadith No: 459 Narrated/Authority of Hammam bin Munabbih
Abu Huraira told us this from Muhammad, the Messenger of Allah. He mentioned a number of hadiths, and this is one: the Messenger of Allah said that when anyone does ablution, they should sniff water into their nostrils and clean them.
Hadith No: 460 Narrated/Authority of Abu Huraira
The Messenger of Allah said that when anyone does ablution, they must clean their nose. And when anyone wipes themselves with pebbles after going to the bathroom, they must do it an odd number of times.
Hadith No: 461 Narrated/Authority of
Abu Huraira and Abu Sa’id al-Khudri, who were both respected companions of the Holy Prophet, transmitted this saying. The Messenger of Allah said it.
