Hadith No: 1 Narrated/Authority of Umar bin Al-Khattab
The Messenger of Allah (SAW) said, “Actions are judged by motives (niyyah). Each person will receive what they intended. So, if someone migrated (hijrah) for the sake of Allah and His Messenger, their migration is for the sake of Allah and His Messenger. However, if someone migrated for worldly gain or to marry someone, their migration is for that which they migrated.” [Al-Bukhari and Muslim]

One day, while sitting with the Messenger of Allah, a man dressed in white clothes and black hair appeared. He sat next to the Prophet and asked, “O Muhammad, tell me about Islam.” The Prophet answered, “Islam is when you testify that there is no deity but Allah and that Muhammad is His Messenger. You should pray, give zakah, fast during Ramadan, and go on Hajj if you can.” The man confirmed that the Prophet spoke the truth. The man then asked about faith, and the Prophet replied, “Faith is believing in Allah, His angels, His Books, His Messengers, and the Last Day. It is also believing in fate, both good and bad.” The man confirmed the Prophet’s response. Next, the man asked about Ihsan, and the Prophet explained, “Ihsan is worshipping Allah as if you can see Him, even though you can’t. He sees you.” The man was satisfied with the answer. Lastly, the man asked about the Hour, and the Prophet said that only Allah knows. The man then asked about the signs of its coming, and the Prophet mentioned the signs. Afterward, the man left. The Prophet then revealed that the man was Jibril, who came to teach them about their religion.

Hadith No: 4 Narrated/Authority of Abdullah bin Masud
The Messenger of Allah, sallallahu ‘alayhi wasallam, told us that the creation of a person begins in their mother’s womb. It starts with a drop of fluid for forty days, then becomes a clot for the same amount of time. After that, it becomes a lump that looks like it has been chewed for the same period. Then, an angel is sent to breathe the spirit into the person. This angel is commanded to write four things: the person’s provision, their lifespan, their deeds, and whether they will be among the wretched or the blessed. I swear by Allah – there is no God but He – that one of you may do good deeds like the people in Paradise, but then the written decree can change so that they end up doing bad deeds like the people in Hell. And likewise, one of you may do bad deeds like the people in Hell, but then the written decree can change so that they end up doing good deeds like the people in Paradise and enter there. (Source: Al-Bukhari and Muslim)

Hadith No: 6 Narrated/Authority of An-Numan bin Bashir
The Messenger of Allah, sallallahu ‘alayhi wasallam, said that what is lawful and what is unlawful are clear. There are some things in between that are doubtful which many people do not know. If you avoid doubtful things, you keep your religion and honor blameless. If you indulge in doubtful things, you are actually indulging in unlawful things. It is like a shepherd who grazes his flock near a preserve. Eventually, the flock will graze inside the preserve. Every king has a preserve, and the things Allah has declared unlawful are His preserves. In the body, there is a flesh. If it is healthy, the whole body is healthy. If it is corrupt, the whole body is corrupt. The heart is the crucial flesh in the body. [Al-Bukhari and Muslim]

Hadith No: 10 Narrated/Authority of Abu Huraira
The Messenger of Allah, sallallahu alayhi wasallam, said, “Allah is pure and only accepts what is pure. Allah tells believers to do what He told the Messengers. Allah has said, ‘Messengers, eat good things and act righteously’ [23:51-53]. And Allah has also said, ‘Believers, eat the good things We provide you with’ [2:167-172]. Then the Prophet talked about a man who has traveled far and is dirty and unkempt. He raises his hands to the sky and says, ‘Lord! Lord!’ But his food, drink, and clothes are all forbidden. He is nourished with unlawful things, so how can he expect an answer?” [Muslim]

One day, I was behind the prophet. He said to me, “Young man, I will teach you some advice. Be mindful of Allah, and Allah will protect you. Be mindful of Allah, and you will find Him in front of you. If you ask, ask of Allah. If you seek help, seek help of Allah. Know that if the Nation were to gather together to benefit you with anything, it would only benefit you with something Allah had already prescribed for you. And if they gather together to harm you with anything, they would only harm you with something Allah had already prescribed for you. The pens have been lifted and the pages have dried.” This was narrated by Termithi, who said it is a true and fine hadith. In another version, it says, “Be mindful of Allah, you will find Him before you. Get to know Allah in prosperity, and He will know you in adversity. Know that what has passed you by was not going to happen to you, and what has happened to you was not going to pass you by. And know that victory comes with patience, relief comes with affliction, and ease comes with hardship.”

Everyone starts their day as a vendor of their soul, either freeing it or causing its ruin. This was related by Muslim.
Hadith No: 23 Narrated/Authority of Abu Dharr al-Ghifari
The prophet says that God told him, “I have forbidden oppression for Myself and have made it forbidden among you, so do not oppress each other. All of you are astray except for those I have guided, so seek guidance from Me and I will guide you. All of you are hungry except for those I have fed, so seek food from Me and I will feed you. All of you are naked except for those I have clothed, so seek clothing from Me and I will clothe you. You sin day and night, and I forgive all sins, so seek forgiveness from Me and I will forgive you. You cannot harm Me or benefit Me. Even if all of you were as pious as the most pious person, it would not increase My kingdom. Even if all of you were as wicked as the most wicked person, it would not decrease My kingdom. If all of you gathered and requested from Me, and I gave everyone what they asked for, it would not decrease what I have, just like a needle does not decrease the sea when put into it. It is only your deeds that I count and recompense you for. So whoever finds good, praise Allah, and whoever finds something other than good, blame themselves.” (related by Muslim)
Hadith No: 24 Narrated/Authority of Abu Dharr
Some of the companions of Allah’s messenger said, “O Messenger of Allah, the rich people have taken all the rewards. They pray, fast, and donate their extra money, just like us.” He replied, “Hasn’t Allah provided things for you to give in charity? Every time you praise Allah, it’s like giving in charity. Every time you say ‘Allahu Akbar,’ it’s like giving in charity. Every time you say ‘Alhamdulillah,’ it’s like giving in charity. And every time you say ‘La ilaha illallah,’ it’s like giving in charity. Encouraging good actions is charity. Discouraging bad actions is charity. Even having intimate relations with your spouse is charity.” They asked, “O Messenger of Allah, is there any reward for having sex?” He said, “If it’s done unlawfully, it’s a sin. If it’s done lawfully, there is a reward.” This was related by Muslim.

Removing a harmful thing from the road is a charity.” This was related by Bukhari and Muslim.

This hadith is from the collections of Ahmed bin Hanbal and Al-Darimi, with reliable sources.

The prophet gave a sermon that made us fearful and brought tears to our eyes. We asked for advice, thinking it was a farewell sermon. He advised us to fear Allah and obey even if a slave is in charge. Those who live long will see much controversy, so follow my teachings and the teachings of the rightly-guided leaders. Be cautious of new ideas, because every new idea is a mistake and every mistake leads to Hell-fire. This Hadith is from Abu Dawud and Al-Tirmithi, who said it is a good and true Hadith.
Hadith No: 29 Narrated/Authority of Muadh bin Jabal
I asked the Messenger of Allah, “Tell me an act that will lead me to Paradise and keep me away from Hell fire.” He replied, “You have asked about something important. But it’s easy for those whom Allah helps. You should worship Allah alone, pray, give to the needy, fast in Ramadan, and go on pilgrimage.” Then he said, “Let me show you the gates of goodness: fasting is like a shield, charity wipes away sins as water puts out fire, and praying at night.” Then he recited a verse from the Quran about those who pray at night and spend what Allah has given them. Then he asked, “Do you want to know the essence of Islam? It’s submission to Allah. The pillar of Islam is prayer, and the pinnacle is striving in the way of Allah.” Then he asked, “Do you want to know what can control everything?” I replied, “Yes, Messenger of Allah.” He held his tongue and said, “Control this.” I asked, “Will what we say be held against us?” He replied, “May your mother mourn over you! Therefore, we should not search for those things.” This hadith was reported by Al-Daraqutni and others.

Hadith No: 35 Narrated/Authority of Abu Huraira
The messenger of Allah said, “Do not envy each other. Do not raise prices for each other. Do not hate each other. Do not turn away from each other. Do not undercut each other. Instead, be brothers, servants of Allah. A Muslim is the brother of another Muslim. He should not oppress or fail his brother. He should not lie to him or hold him in contempt. Piety is found in the heart.” The messenger pointed to his breast three times. “It is very wrong to hold a Muslim brother in contempt. A Muslim’s life, belongings, and honor should be protected by another Muslim.” This statement is from Muslim.
Hadith No: 36 Narrated/Authority of Abu Huraira
The Prophet said: If you take away someone’s worldly troubles, Allah will take away one of your troubles on Judgment Day. If you help a needy person, Allah will help you in this life and the next. If you protect a Muslim, Allah will protect you in this life and the next. Allah will support a servant as long as the servant supports their brother. If you seek knowledge, Allah will make it easy for you to go to Paradise. When people gather in a house of Allah to read and study His Book, they will feel peaceful, receive mercy, be surrounded by angels, and Allah will mention them to those with Him. Your family history won’t make you go faster if your actions slow you down. This is from Muslim.

But if someone intends and does a good deed, Allah counts it as ten to seven hundred times or even more. On the other hand, if someone intends to do a bad deed but doesn’t do it, Allah counts it as a full good deed. But if someone intends and does a bad deed, Allah counts it as just one bad deed. This was related by Bukhari and Muslim.

My servant can draw near to Me by doing the religious duties I have imposed upon him. And if my servant continues to draw near to Me by doing extra works, I will love him. When I love him, I will be his hearing, his seeing, his hand, and his foot. If he asks me for something, I will give it to him. And if he asks for refuge, I will grant it.'”

Use your good health to prepare for illness, and use your life to prepare for death.” This was mentioned by Bukhari.
